Begin Bright is an Australian program designed by teachers, for children to learn to love learning. Our Begin Bright Primary tutoring program, from Years 1-6, directly correlates to the Australian Curriculum ensuring the continuity of learning from tutoring to the classroom. Tutoring times consist of 30,45 and 60 minute individual one-to-one learning with a qualified teacher. Each child receives an assessment on their first visit, with a personal tailored tutoring program developed for each individual child. Our school readiness program teaches children between the ages of 3 and 6 all aspects of Literacy and Numeracy, integrating Science and the Arts. The demand has grown significantly for children to be at a higher academic level upon commencement of primary school. This program has been designed to ensure that all literacy and numeracy curriculum requirements are met and children have a positive beginning to their learning. Through fun characters, stories and rhyme, letter sounds are easily remembered and activities are designed to reinforce number logic. Having a bright beginning to their education, children will have a more positive attitude and strive to achieve more throughout their lives. The Begin Bright method focuses on learning through visual and concrete materials. We certainly don't want preschoolers and primary students to just sit and write, so every new concept is supported with an activity to appeal to a child's creative side.
